Career summary and highlights

I am a professionally qualified marketeer (Diploma in Marketing, Chartered Institute of Marketing) with over 20 years experience in devising, planning, implementing and managing marketing strategies and campaigns.  My marketing, copywriting and project management skills are available to any organisation requiring freelance talent that produces excellent results. 

Working closely with worldwide clients across many industries, I ensure projects are delivered as specified – on time and to budget.  One of my key abilities is being able to identify issues and risks and quickly pinpoint the required solutions for fast and timely delivery. 

I have considerable experience of the IT world and key knowledge of other business areas such as: private health care, wills and probate, publishing, alternative therapies and immigration.  As well as holding certified Diplomas in Marketing, Horticulture and Massage I also have a wide range of interests including property restoration, upholstery, creative writing, wine appreciation and garden renovation.  Having lived in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and France I am now based in beautiful northern Spain.

  • Medical Benefits Fund – direct mail migration management of approx 20,000 members to new private health products and rates within 3 months and over 70% success rate; promotion of new health plans to over 700 corporate clients to increase value and number of health plans, taken up by over 40% of clients; creation, build up and management of corporate sales database
  • Steria (formerly Bull Information Systems) – creation and campaign management of new direct mail/telemarketing solution resulting in over 70% success rate in appointment making; management of lead generation program providing over 500 qualified leads resulting in £500k+ booked business in 6 months plus £1m identified pipeline; creation and organisation of press launch with key security speakers, coverage gained including channel TV and national radio and press
